This update is for those of you attending the county championships on Sunday.
First thing, don’t forget the clocks go forward on Saturday night!!!
Secondly, well done everyone for making it this far – starting to feel like a long month and I haven’t done any swimming.
Sunday 30 March
Start Session 1 12.00
If you are only swimming in the second session of the day please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before the warm up to sign in.
Session 2 (9 in the programme) – warm up 14.30 start 16.00
Please make sure that you sign in for your races. The sign in sheets are generally as you enter the changing rooms and tend to be scattered about so it is really important that you know what you are swimming to ensure you tick everything off. It is the swimmers responsibility to make sure they are signed in correctly.
Please can you ensure that your swimmers have appropriate kit – at least 2 hats and 2 pairs of goggles, a t-bag/t-shirt for poolside and a towel for changing and also one for poolside as well as their swimwear.
Please send your swimmer with appropriate food/drinks (at least one bottle of water/weak juice per session) – please do not send them with bags of sweets.
Please do not ask your swimmers to leave the pool deck during a session. It is important we know where they are for safety as well as race reasons.
